families with mental health resources in the community. Please follow the links

Calgary Community Resources for Mental Health
Counselling and Supports:
Kids Help Phone: you can text, phone, live
chat or find resources at: kidshelpphone.ca/
Access Mental Health for Adolescents: free,
short term mental health supports and resources available at:albertahealthservices.ca/services/page11443.aspx
Distress Centre: 24 hour crisis support, free
crisis counselling, peer support, community resources at: distresscentre.com/
Eastside Family Centre: normally walk in
counselling available but currently offering phone or e-therapy at: woodshomes.ca/programs/eastside-family-centre/
Addiction and Mental Health support through Alberta

Calgary Counselling Centre: affordable and

The Alex Health Centre: physical, emotional
and sexual health care available for vulnerable Calgarians. Mature minors

Alberta Health Resource Information for Coping
During COVID-19:
ab.211.ca
Call 211 and you will have access to an entire network of
community,social, health and government services. Your call will be answered by
a professional information and referral specialist who is trained to assess
your need and refer you to the most appropriate service or services. The
service is offered in over 170 languages. 211 is free, confidential,
multilingual and available 24 hours a day 365 days a year. Don't like talking
on the phone? Online chat is available from 12-8pm daily at ab.211.ca
